The Soul

The soul is generous: it takes in the needs of the world.  The soul is wise: it suffers without shutting down.  The soul is hopeful: it engages the world in ways that keep opening our hearts.  The soul is creative: it finds its way between realities that might defeat us and fantasies that are mere escapes.  All we need to do is to bring down the wall that separates us from our souls and deprives the world of the soul’s regenerative powers.

Moms With Soul 2012

March 31-April 1

Because we had such a great time the past two years, Moms With Soul 2012 will be at the same location, with the same facilitator, and the same yogi.  We hope you'll join us.

Lisa Sankowski of Wellesley College's Courage and Renewal NE, will again guide the group of up to 20 moms through a respectful, gentle process of introspection, sharing, and reflection and help us achieve our mission to create peace within and foster connection among moms who strive to live soulfully.

This retreat is for moms of any age. The intention of the weekend is to create space to take care of ourselves, and remember that in addition to being moms, we are amazing women too.

We look forward to having you,

Stacey Zawel

The 2nd Annual MOMS WITH SOUL Was a Success!!! Here is What Some Said...

Thank you so much for putting our amazing retreat together. At the closing circle I was so calm and soaked in such intense peace that I didn't want to speak. Me not wanting to speak is a miracle in its self. I left with such a better understanding of myself and my need for silence, alone time, and sacred space. These three things do not currently exist in my life (even in the bathroom). So thank you! Thank you! Thank you! - Lydia

Last year I came to the Moms with Soul retreat because I really needed it.  This year I was in a much better place in my life yet still gained so much. - Deb

Second Annual Moms with Soul Retreat

April 2 - 3, 2011

"We want more time" was the key request moms made who attended our 2010 retreat. So, we have extended the time to include a second facilitated day, all in the same wonderful, serene setting and the same amazing food.

And based on rave reviews we have invited back our facilitators from Wellesley College's Courage and Renewal NE, Pamela Siegle and Lisa Sankowski. They will guide the group of up to 30 moms through a respectful, gentle process of introspection, sharing, and reflection and help us achieve our mission to foster community and connection among moms who strive to live soulfully.

This retreat is for moms of any age. The spirit and intention of the weekend is to create space to take care of ourselves. Not to forget that we're moms, but to remember we are amazing women too.

We look forward to having you,

Stacey Zawel, Jennie Mulqueen, and Jana Kahn
